what should not be forgotten

The things that should not be forgotten are:

Watching your younger siblings grow up. All the stuff you go through growing up. Your first interview and job. Everything your parents taught you.  The day you decide to follow Yahweh. Getting Immersed.  The Torah of Yahweh. Everything Yahweh has done and is doing for you. All the kind things that your friends do for you. That your parents love you more than anything else in the whole world!

vegetables or friendship
I think it would be more devastating to humanity if everyone developed and allergic reaction to vegetables.  If everyone was allergic to friendship they would be lonely. If we didn't have friends we wouldn't become better people, and we wouldn't have anyone to relate to. I am very happy that we are not allergic to friendship.  I can't imagine what it would be like not to have friends helping you out, encouraging you, and sticking up for you. I am very thankful for all the friends I have.  Thank You Yahweh for friendship

what was in the wallet?
There was a picture of President Obama and fifty million dollars in the right pocket. The man did not take the wallet because he did not want to be accused of stealing money from President Obama. He knew he would be in a lot of trouble if he took the wallet. The man thought if he put the wallet back where he found it one of  President Obama's servants would find it and return it to President Obama.

gender swap
Once upon a time there lived a tall boy named Jack Red.He was called Jack Red because he wore a red jacket every day. One day Jack Red's mother gave  him a big basket of goodies. Please take these goodies to his grandmother.Who isn't feeling well.  "Okay, sure mom" Red Jack said and ran outside with the basket  swinging side to side. "Jack, remember not to go into the Mysterious Forrest!" His mother hollered after him.
Soon after Jack left his cottage he came upon the Mysterious Forrest and then stopped. "Should I go through the Mysterious Forrest?" Jack asked himself, because his mother had often told him not to go through the Mysterious Forrest. "If I don't go through the Forrest, It will take me longer to get to grandmother's house." He thought unsure of what he should do. "I'll take the short cut." Jack decided. As he walked through the forrest he wondered why his mother had told him to never go into the Forrest? "There's nothing to be afraid of!" Jack said out loud. Jack began to run through the Forrest to get to his grandmothers house faster. Then all of a sudden he saw a huge wolf come out of some bushes. Jack began to walk slowly, but the wolf began to sprinting toward him. Then all of a sudden the wolf grabbed the basket of goodies and ran away from Jack Red. After the wolf left, Jack realized what had happened and started to scream as he ran all the way home. When he got home he told his mother what had happened, then his mother grounded him for a month and made him cook more food for his grandmother and bring it to her the long way.

do over

If I was able to go back to yesterday, I would have been more careful where I placed my ring. Some how I misplaced my ring or lost it, and I have not been able to find it. I asked Yahweh to help me find my ring and my mom prayed that I would find my ring, but its still lost. But I'm not giving up yet, hopefully I will find it.

presidency prep
There are four things you need to know.
1. Be honest about everything you tell the people.
2. Keep all promises that you make to the people.
3. Do not be greedy for money, or power.
4. Always rule the people with kindness, gentleness,
    peace and patience.

These four instructions are the key to a successful leadership, if you do not follow these, you will be very unpopular and not have a long presidency.

sliding doors
If I could change one thing from my past it would be all the terrible out bursts I've had at my parents. I think if I wouldn't have had all those out bursts that I wouldn't have had to have all the extreme punishments I've gotten and have to deal with my parents and brothers reminding me of all my outbursts. My life certainly would have been allot better, but through all of these outbursts I've gradually learned how to control my anger, and to take Saint John's Wort three times a day. Saint John's Wort works really great, it makes my really happy, my family is also happy when I take it!

uncorking memories
The memory I would bottle up would be when we used to go to Buccaneer Bay in Florida . Buccaneer Bay is a little water park that my family and friends and I would go to allot during the summer. My friends and brothers and I loved going down the water slides and swimming in the pool.  Sometimes we would try to break each others records, by going down the slides so many times or holding our breaths under the water. Those times were so much fun!

I think I would open that bottle every day.
from the archives: writing prompt #327
“He knew that no one had lived to tell what was behind the cloud, but still he climbed.”

After an hour he was half way up the cliff, even though he was a strong young man, he struggled to reach the top. He often lost his grip, but quickly regained his hold. After an other hour he reached the tricky part of the cliff. This part of the cliff was mostly flat and very difficult for any one to get a grip. At this part Seth had to untie himself from his rope and free-climb the rest of the way up the cliff. It was very difficult for him to get a good grip, and there wasn't very many  small crevasses  for him to put his hands in. Multiple times Seth almost fell, but regained his hold. After an other hour he had eighty feet left to climb. A little voice in Seth's head began to tell him that he wouldn't make it, that he would fall and no one would be there to save him. Seth tried to ignore these thoughts, but it was almost impossible to ignore those thoughts. He was trying so hard to block out those thoughts that his right hand almost slipped from the crevasses his hand was in. But he quickly regained his hold again. Seth's arms and legs were getting very tired, he tried to rest for a few minutes but his feet almost slipped from the small crevasses that were barely holding him. He knew he was almost to the top, but he didn't know if he could make it.Seth desperately climbed faster and faster till he was just a foot away from the top. He continued to climb fast until he was able to put his right hand on the edge and then put his other hand on the edge and slowly pulled himself up. By this time Seth barely had any strength left, but he had to keep pulling himself up to the top so he could rest. Finally he was on top of the cliff, and he just laid there not moving, unable to believe that he, Seth Hayden had made it to the top of the cliff behind the cloud!

instructions for revolution

Instructions for Overcoming A Tyrannical                    Government in the 21 Century
If you want to avoid having a tyrannical government you need to first make sure to pick good,  christian leaders. Then write down a list of rules and regulations for the people, and leaders to follow, and a list of freedoms that they are allowed. Then give the leaders  very little power so that they will not be able to force the people to do anything that the people do not like or want to do.
When the leaders want to pass a law or regulation, they should tell the people about it and ask them if they want that law or regulation to be passed. The leaders should be expected to follow the rules and regulations, and if they would not  they would be evoked from office. The leaders would be more involved with their country instead of the other countries. And most importantly the leaders would have to listen to the people and do whatever the people asked.

the start of the school year

cross posted at The Big Universe
This is a fictional story about a bad start to a new school year.

On the first day of school I wore a uniform to school instead of regular clothes, and all the teenagers laughed at me. Then at lunch I dropped my tray of food on the most  popular girl in school, which led to a slapping fight. But then a teacher came and sent us to the principal's office, where we got detention after school. All through school the other teenagers made fun of me and talked about me throughout the day and while I rode the bus home. When I got home from school my parents yelled at me for being late and for getting into a fight, on the first day of school. I ended up getting grounded for a week. When I went to bed that night after I did my homework, I told myself that today was a great way to start a new school year.

Who gets which mug?
(I think the clichéd-yet-classic “who would you have for coffee?” question is pretty boring, but I think the coffee mug question is both important and interesting.)
I would invite  Suzanne Collins, Veronica Roth, and Jane Austen, over for coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. We would talk about writing novels, with gripping details. Suzanne would get the Element of Surprise mug, Veronica would get the Keep Calm and Dance on mug, and Jane would get the I found this Humerus mug.

migrating air fish
This is a story about a place under water where people and fish live  together.  Every year the fish migrate to lay their eggs, and then travel back three weeks later to live amongst the people again. For generations these fish have been migrating back and forth. On migration day all of the people gather to watch the spectacular sight of all the millions of fish migrating together all at once. But on this particular migrating day when the fish leave to lay their eggs three weeks pass, and there's no sign of the fish. The people aren't worried because the fish have been known to return two or three days after three weeks, but when four days pass after the three weeks are up, the people start to wonder what happened to all the fish. The people start to worry that if the fish are gone that they will be attacked by the sharks, squids, snapping turtles, and electric eels that live near by.
The people begin to argue about what they should do to get the fish back. During the two weeks that pass the people have gotten attacked by the eels, snapper turtles, and squids. Finally a young man stands up and tells the people that they need to go in search of the fish. After several complaints they decide to all go and search for  the fish. It takes them three months to find the fish, but, they do find them and a new wonderful place to live where their isn't any predators for them to worry about.

disappearances

The nine hundred thousand people decided to out west in wagons to find good land so they could plant fruits and vegetables and live peacefully. But a long the way they got attacked by Indianans,  bit by poisonous snakes, and killed by panthers and bears. By the time they picked out land there was only a hundred left, and a long and brutal winter was coming in two months. They knew that they wouldn't have enough time to get ready for winter, because they hadn't built houses yet, and they knew that their food wouldn't last very long.
No one knows if  the one hundred people  that were left survived or not.  Its a mystery!

Igloo or underwater hotel?

I would choose the underwater hotel, because I would be able to look at all kinds of sea life. If I spent a week there I would get to experience what the characters in 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea experienced while they were held by Captain Nemo in the Nautilus.
I wouldn't want to leave this hotel after I spent a week there, I think I would have to live there for the rest of my life, but only if my family would live there with me.

One Foot Ashore by Jacqueline Greene
One Foot Ashore is a compelling story about a sixteen year old Jewish girl named Marie Ben Lazar and her sister Isobel.  When they were ten and four years old they were kidnapped by the Portuguese Inquisition and taken to Brazil to work at the monastery's farms for six years. After six years Marie comes up with a deceptively simple plan to find their parents.
Her plan was for her and her sister to board two separate ships and sail as stowaways to Amsterdam,  then when they got to Amsterdam they would look for their parents. Isobel didn't want to separate, but Marie was unflinching in her decision, but when Marie spends a week alone in hiding she fully realizes why Isobel was afraid to separate.
Finally the ship arrives in Amsterdam, and Marie becomes poignant because she remembers that she doesn't speak this country's language, she doesn't know where to turn to and doesn't have any money either. While she's trying to figure out what to do she gets into trouble and gets put in jail. While she is in jail a stranger comes and talks to the jailers and then asks Marie in Portuguese who she is and where she is from. Marie tells him who she is and the stranger pays her bail and gestures for her to follow him home and hands her a package to carry.
Gripping the package in one hand she picks up the bundle she brought and follows the stranger home.  As she walks with this stranger she tries to figure out why he is wanting her to follow him home. But all at once she realizes that this stranger wants to help her. This is a riveting and powerful story that girls will really like.

If I were arrested in a foreign country I would want the authority's to tell my that I have the right to stay at their best hotel "free room service included", and while I was staying there I could shop as much as I wanted to,and they would  gladly cover my expenses for me. I could also buy a car, and tour their country, and they would also gladly cover my cell phone bill while I was there, until my trial. Then at my trial I would be sentenced to two years at their best college to become a book reviewer, and then two years working at a news paper office, and then they would gladly buy me a first class airplane ticket so that I could go back to the U.S.A.
